Fields: Cascade Profile Settings

Path: Profiles > Cascade Profile Settings

Cascade Profile Settings lets you copy selected settings from one profile to one or more selected profiles. The profile settings include options from Edit Profile along with options found in the Configuration categories. When Portfolio copies the settings, it overwrites the values in the selected profiles with the values from the selected settings. For example, if the originating profile has My Lists functionality enabled, when you cascade that setting to selected profiles, that setting overwrites the existing setting in those profiles.

The settings in the selected profiles will be overwritten by the selected settings from the originating profile. This process cannot be undone. If a value was copied inadvertently, you will need to access each profile that it was copied to in order to restore the values.

Cascade Profile Settings does not create a permanent link between the profiles. Any subsequent changes made to settings in the originating profile or target profiles are not propagated to the other profiles.
